Col Heslop

Col Heslop

Col has been serving the church and the community in various ministry roles for over thirty years. Col’s passion for community was formed when ministering to Adelaide’s homeless youth and high school students (as a teenager himself) while developing presentation skills through speaking engagements in metropolitan and rural churches.

Now an Ordained Churches of Christ Minister, Col (widely referred to as Rev) continues to assist many churches across South Australia. He is a commissioned SA Police Chaplain covering Pt Wakefield, Balaklava, and Hamley Bridge, and is also Padre to the members of the Joint Proof and Experimental Unit (JPEU) Pt Wakefield as a voluntary Chaplain since 2016.

Married to Tanya for over 25 years with two adult children Brittny and Tim. Col and his family enjoy journeying with others, and doing life around a shared meal, BBQ, and over a few beverages.
